Ladyslipper Sinner's Soiree - October 2026
Event: October 17th 2026 Today was the day! So many thoughts and emotions running through my head, the past week was a trial of blood, sweat and tears when it came to perfecting the look. The lovely Autumn of the Ladyslipper Society in Minnesota took amazing photography and MAN I could not be happier with how they turned out! Let's rewind to the beginning, when i crafted my concept. I took inspiration from various religious motifs, most notably Joan of Arc. The way she could be construed as both a being of Wrath to the English and a Saintess of Justice to the French, but by her contemporaries be neither was always fascinating to me. I have read through her personal diaries and she has always been such an interesting historical figure to me. I think, though not many tie her to Saint Michael the Archangel, I can see her being seen similarly by her compatriots.
